What makes a charming residence? What could be the difference here from a simple hotel? In this article, we’ll tell you all about it!
Villa Campestri is an historical Tuscan home, a shrine of great Olive Oil and at the same time an alluring hotel in the heart of the Mugello hills.
What do we mean exactly by a charming, or alluring, residence? With its twenty-five bedrooms – many of which you’ve already seen on our blog or Facebook page – Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort is a tastefully restored Renaissance villa built around a 13th century fortress, with a magnificent large olive grove that produces the finest of extra-virgin olive oils.
What else makes us so very different from a regular hotel? In our structure, in our welcoming staff, and our services, nothing is very different from a fine four-starred hotel (except that we’re given many awards by Trip Adviser and by the best of travel sites on the web). But our grand feature is the special atmosphere that makes Villa Campestri a favorite residence of charm, ranking among one of the most beautiful in Italy, as you can see from photos on social networks and from the descriptions in Abitare la Storia, whose very function is to show the finest historic houses.
The History that breathes through the very walls of the Villa is the first sensation you’ll feel as you enter; indeed, in the salons, in every room, in the wine and oil cellars –– all knowledgeably and passionately restored by host Paolo Pasquali – you’ll hear the voices and testimonies of more than eight hundred years of History. This is what we mean by an Olive Oil Experience: to be part of this framework that brings back the atmosphere of the past, with all the comforts of modern life and the welcoming hospitality we can offer.
If you are thinking about a special moment, a honeymoon or perhaps to re-live your wedding day within the walls of Villa Campestri, visit our website’s special section on our Resort, and dip into the 3-dimensional elegant atmosphere of our Residence of Charm: Art, History and Total Relaxation.
