With beautiful weather peeking from behind the clouds, June means the sun is out and festivals are starting all around Tuscany. We compiled our top list of cool events that you don’t want to miss if you are visiting the Mugello valley region of Tuscany this month!
1. Strawberry Festival in nearby Scarperia (Fi). The third edition of this fun festival is this Saturday June 7th and Sunday June 8th at the Centro Polivalente. Look for the delightful ‘ballad of strawberries’ with live musical concerts and 0km stands where you can buy baskets of this sweet, red fruit among other local delicacies from the region. You can also ea dinner here both Saturday and Sunday (also lunch).
2. Cycling tour on June 14th in the Mugello Valley, a new edition with the same amount of kilometers as the year before. Check on updated details via their Facebook page here.
3. FIERA AGRICOLA DEL MUGELLO, June 6,7th, 8th and 9th in the Mugello. A huge agricultural fair taking place the second week of June in Borgo San Lorenzo. More information can be found here.
4. Sagra del Tortello, festival of tortelli pasta in Borgo San Lorenzo, June 13-22nd at the Luco di Mugello in Borgo San Lorenzo (FI).
