Meeting people from all over the world by welcoming them into our ancient Villa is something special for us, who allows us to create authentic bonds that often turn into precious friendships.
Let’s relive together the best moments of 2019 spent with you!
Villa Campestri is an ancient Renaissance villa located in the heart of Tuscany, a few kilometers from Florence.
We are in the Mugello area, the birthplace of the Medici family, in a territory where country life is still present and marks the rhythm of the days.
At Villa Campestri you can see the seasons change, the nature that surrounds us is a spectacle of colors and smells. It is a pleasure to see the beautiful bright colors of summer, among flowers and very green trees, to give way to the red tones of autumn.
When winter comes our Gateau, the house cat, spends long and lazy days in the most comfortable and warm places of the Villa, not wanting to challenge the low temperatures that sometimes bring snow by bleaching the beautiful hills of Mugello.
Every season is magical and full of pure beauty that seems to envelop the entire Villa.
The 2019 season at Villa Campestri has given us truly unforgettable moments spent in your company.
We love being able to learn about the cultures of our guests who come from all over the world to enjoy relaxing moments in the Tuscan countryside.
At the same time it is a pleasure for us to be able to share our world with them, to open our house doors as if in a big family.
How can we forget, for example, when we have prepared togheter the famous Tuscan biscuits, the “Cantuccini”. A simple and traditional recipe that we shared with you while having fun together in the kitchen, between water, eggs and flour.
Throughout the season our Chef has surprised and conquered us with exquisite recipes, made with masterly skill and always fresh products in which our olive oil was the great protagonist.
On cool summer evenings we spent unforgettable aperitifs on the terrace with you, enjoying the splendid view of the Tuscan countryside and sipping the Moscow Mule prepared by our Serena.
Many aperitifs but also tasty “apericena” where delicious drinks were accompanied by every type of finger food: olives, cherry tomatoes, selection of Tuscan cheeses, home-made schiacciata and much more.
A very special evening was when we organized Homemade Pizza Night!
Collected around the wood-fired oven to see our pizza maker at work and then enjoy fantastic handmade pizzas made with the freshest ingredients in a delicious dinner. Lots of flavors from Pizza Margherita, Vegetarian to Spicy Salami. And for dessert a classic: the Tiramisù!
These are just some of the beautiful memories we have in your company, because here at Villa Campestri emotions never really end. Thank you for choosing us, we hope to welcome you again, we are waiting for you at Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort!
